![]() Greetings lovelies! If you'll be in the New Orleans area, catch me at the WWII museum as a member of the Victory Belles this Fall! I am humbled to be joining this elite group of very talented young ladies as we sing some of the greatest hits of the 1940s to our veterans and soldiers, and I hope to see you at one (or two, or three, or a thousand) of our performances in the future. :) My OTHER announcement is that I have been cast as "The Leading Player" in Le Petit Theatre's production of "Pippin" which runs September 16th - October 2nd! Since high school, I have desired to portray this one-of-a-kind character- It's still a bit surreal that I am getting a chance to finally take-on this role. I am extremely excited to work with every person involved in this production . It's a blessing that I'm able to work on both of these projects at the same time. If you know me, you would know that I have a reputation for always being busy. I always tell folks that I'd rather be busy doing what I love than be sitting around trying to figure out what I'm going to do next. Now, I do take my breaks when I need them, but I always end up getting bored really quick, and jumping back into a project (any project... it can be as simple as drawing a picture), because that's where my fulfillment lies. Shout out to St. Mary's Dominican High School for instilling the inspiration behind my current work ethic that has gotten me through my young adulthood thus far. I don't think I would be where I am today without them. With all of that being said, I hope to see you all at one these shows in the future. Mark your calendars! ~Jessica |
