Yesterday was the final day of Polar Express train ride performances in New Orleans, and I will say that it was an experience like no other. From inspiring the young and the young-at-heart to "Believe" to giving families and friends hope in a time of despair, my duty as a performer was always apparent from the moment the first passenger stepped on board. I got to work with so many talented people and I will cherish each and every one of them for the rest of my life. Included in that number was my extremely talented "cartner" Stephen. For approximately 84 shows, Stephen and I ran the Silver Bell car with persistence and electrifying energy. When one or both of us were sick or feeling under the weather, we filled in those missing gaps to make sure that each passenger got what they paid for.
Thanks, Polar Express NOLA, for giving me another opportunity to reinforce why I love what I do.
